Jesus has this claim that anyone who believes in Him believes in the One who sent Him. Jesus is so convinced He is the Son of God, so convinced He walks completely with God all the time, that just seeing Jesus we see God. This is a message for all of us. We too should be able to say if you believe in me, meaning in what I stand for and what I do, then you also believe in the Father. Seeing me the Father shines through. All we do should be an act to glorify the Father. Jesus is the Light, He puts light on the message of God, so we may see God and know God. We live in darkness, we are born in darkness, our entire life is an opening up to the life we are given, seeing the true meaning of life and opening our eyes to a life of peace, love and joy. This is the Light Jesus sheds on the world, leaving His message so it may touch our hearts and we may grow in the light, less and less is unknow by us.
God is a mystery, not because He can’t be understood but because there is so much to know. God is willing to inform us of all He is and all He does, we only need to be in a place of listening. God’s message is heard in the whispers of the day, not the shouts. God does not want us to love Him because of what He can do but because we know that He loves us. This love is shown quietly, and with certainty. Trust the whispers, walk in the Light, leave darkness completely.
