Jesus continues His final teaching to His disciples before going to the cross and begins to tell them He will send an Advocate. This Advocate will give them courage, wisdom, strength and will be a force that helps the disciples bring Jesus’ message of love to all the corners of the world. Jesus, telling the disciple about the Advocate, the One we call the Holy Spirit, gives a glimpse into the communion of God; the Father, Son and the Spirit; who has become known as the love between the Father and the Son, a path of constant connection. Jesus says the Advocate is the Spirit of Truth and will guide all in truth. The Spirit does not speak on His own, He speaks what He hears. The Spirit has worked with Jesus from the beginning, the message of Jesus is a message that is completely agreed upon by God; the Father, Son and Spirit. What is said by Jesus is said by the Father and the Spirit. As Jesus glorifies the Father by doing His will and following all the Father desires of Him, the Spirit glorifies Jesus by doing all that Jesus has spoken and pushes the truth of Jesus message, which is the message of the Father.
In the book, “The Shack” by William P Young, the three persons of God are represented; Father, Son and Spirit. The main character visits a shack where he meets God in these three persons. He will speak to the Father and later speak to the Spirit who is able to continue the conversation where the Father left off, although the Spirit was not present for the conversation. It is a beautiful portrayal of how all is known by God; Father, Son and Spirit as they work in communion to share the message of love.

As Jesus glorifies the Father by doing His will and following all the Father desires of Him, the Spirit glorifies Jesus by doing all that Jesus has spoken and pushes the truth of Jesus message, which is the message of the Father.
